BILLBOARD HOT 100 CHARTING RAPPER REAL BOSTON RICHEY DELIVERS SCORCHING TWO-PACK “GO RICHEY” AND “HELP ME 2”
Summer may be over, but Real Boston Richey is keeping the fire on. The Florida-bred star arrives today with two brand new tracks, “Go Richey” and a sequel to his fast-rising hit, “Help Me” ,which earned Richey his first-career Billboard Hot 100 debut earlier this year and climbing to #55. Stream the new singles here.
Along with the new music, Richey delivers the official music video for “Go Richey.” Available now.
On the heels of Welcome to Bubbaland, his official debut album released just over a year ago, Real Boston Richey launched into a feverish campaign to build on his newly-established stardom. The results have been rewarding.
“Go Richey,” a victory lap of sorts, brings another contagious Richey chorus into the fold, as the rapper sneers, “Go Richey, do your big one,” on his trap-driven pep rally. “Help Me 2” continues the script set forth by “Help Me,” which landed Richey his first-career Billboard Hot 100 debut following its May release and has become a social media sensation as fans take turns admiring the vulnerability of its lyrics. The track continues to rise after 10 weeks on the chart, currently sitting at #55 after a #93 debut.
“Boston Richey got me checking my Apple Music every day to see if that ‘Help Me 2’ dropped,” wrote one X user after Richey teased his new music earlier this week. On the track’s sequel, Richey doesn’t disappoint, reprising the original MacFly Beatz instrumental to pour his heart out for part two.
To punctuate his new two-pack, Boston Richey delivers the music video for “Go Richey,” which takes the party to the streets, which Richey has been feeding for a year straight. Surrounded by friends, fans, and of course bands in the DevProdFilms-directed clip Richey places his stamp on the 4th quarter without wasting any time.
In addition to the success of “Help Me,” Richey’s anthem featuring Glo Rilla, “Get In There,” has been steadily impacting since its August release and has become dominant on social media. Over 140,000 posts have used “Get In There” as a soundtrack, and it’s been viewed over 4 million times on YouTube in just a month, giving the record legitimate viral success and the ceiling of a bonafide hit. With all this action coming after the release of his debut album, Real Boston Richey appears more focused than ever.
