BLAKE WHITEN GOES MAJOR: RISING COUNTRY STAR SIGNS WITH ENCHNTMNT & WARNER RECORDS

Rising 20-year-old country sensation Blake Whiten announces his signing to Enchntmnt / Warner Records, marking a major milestone for the small-town South Carolina native. To celebrate the occasion, the singer, songwriter, and musician from Six Mile, South Carolina (population: <800), is sharing his heart-wrenching major label debut single “Made for Goodbyes”. The young renegade will also kick off his first headlining U.S. tour this September. Dates will be announced soon and fans can get updates HERE.
“I’m just a small town boy from Six Mile who picked up a guitar and started writing my own story. Now I’m a part of the amazing Warner Records family and one step closer to playing the music I love on the biggest stages. This is just the beginning, let’s make some noise!” Whiten says of joining the Warner Recordsfamily.
“Blake Whiten is a prime example of the type of artist we pride ourselves on signing at Warner Records. He possesses raw talent, distinct vocals, real musicianship and an impeccable knack for storytelling. We couldn’t be happier to welcome him to the Warner family and look forward to working closely with Enchntmnt to set Blake up for a long-lasting career.” -Added Aaron Bay-Schuck, Co-Chairman & CEO, Warner Records.
“Blake Whiten is the kind of artist who reminds you why you get into this business in the first place. We’re proud to stand beside him and partner with Warner Records, a team that shares our vision and belief in true artist development. This isn’t just about music, it’s about legacy, and we’re just getting started” said Enchntmnt team Reid Daroff, Benny “Brisk” Negrin and Alix Negrin.
Whiten’s potential is on full display on the achingly raw “Made for Goodbyes.” Over a sober guitar melody, the ascendant star croons, “I can only take so much before I turn this bottle up and put it to my head / I can only drink so much before I get too drunk and then I’m missing you again.” By the chorus, Whiten has given any tough-guy posturing the boot, and is wearing his battered heart on his sleeve: “I was made for goodbyes / I was made for living with your lies.”
Just this month, Whiten was named one of “10 Country and Americana Artists You Need to Know” by Holler, who called his strikingly rich and gritty-beyond-his-years sound “a distinctly southern blend of smoky country rock with just enough mainstream country production touches for it to perfectly compliment any contemporaries like Morgan Wallen and Kameron Marlowe.”
Young as he is, Whiten’s already paid dues. After learning guitar from his dad, the country upstart built a loyal following uploading covers of current hits and classic tracks. His rendition of Morgan Wallen’s “I Guess” garnered 9M views on TikTok and sparked nearly 40,000 creates. Whiten then turned his attention to releasing original music and found immediate success with the independently released “Rollin’ Stone” (35M+ global streams) and “Breakin’ My Heart” (9M+ global streams). He also co-wrote Bailey Zimmerman’s 2024 single “Holding On.” In less than a year, Blake has amassed a quickly growing and devoted fanbase which includes more than 800,000 monthly listeners on Spotify—and counting.
Whiten’s rise rolled into 2025 with the arrival of his hometown-themed Six Mile EP and the single “Carolina,” a love letter he wrote about his native state. Recently, he’s torn up stages at the 2025 CMA Fest (attended by over 95,000 fans) and in support of Arkansas country riser Waylon Wyatt, among others, His upcoming headlining tour includes festival dates across the U.S. and abroad, promising more of the soul-baring, dirt-kicking performances that are fast becoming his signature. As his story enters this next chapter, one thing’s for sure: With a guitar in hand and heartbreak in his voice, Blake Whiten is poised to help shape the next era of country music—and he’s just getting started.
