Colombian urban superstar Blessd is set to make history on September 22nd as the first Latin artist to perform at the Ballon d’Or ceremony. Taking place at the iconic Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, Blessd will open the world’s most prestigious football awards with a performance of his anthem “Condenado al Éxito II.”

More than a performance, this moment marks a cultural milestone—bridging music and football on one of the most-watched stages in the world. With 2,000 of the game’s biggest names in attendance, Blessd’s presence highlights Latin music’s global impact and Colombia’s growing influence across culture, sports, and entertainment.

Music and football are bridges that unite us,” says Blessd. “To represent Latinos, my country, and all dreamers at the Ballon d’Or is not only an honor, it’s a dream come true.”

Blessd’s path to the Ballon d’Or stage is no coincidence. Beyond music, he is one of the youngest owners of professional football clubs in Europe, with investments in Denmark’s Vendsyssel FF and Spain’s Conquense, blending his two passions while creating opportunities for the next generation of athletes.

This appearance cements Blessd’s role as a cultural trailblazer whose work transcends borders, pushing Latin music, sport, and identity onto the world’s most elite stages.

The 2025 Ballon d’Or will be broadcast live worldwide, with official coverage led by France’s La Chaîne L’Équipe and global streaming available via L’Équipe’s YouTube channel and website.
