Kylan’s intentions are made clear from EP opener “War Wit The Devil,’‘ an incendiary provocation that is equal parts moody atmosphere and raw confession. In addition to sharing his inner-life and hard-knocks story, the rapper also shows his playful side on recent singles “Loss” featuring Little Double 0, the Rob49-assisted “Purple Flags,” and “Sticky.” Other EP highlights include the unapologetic “Hellcat,”instantly catchy “Whoa Shawty,” and the unrepentant “Too Bad So Slime.” It’s a dizzying collection that showcases the teenager’s nimble wordplay and slick flow.
