Bryce Hase – “trUst’20 / coMa” (feat TyFontaine)

unnamed (26)

Showing off his versatile vocals and emotional songwriting, Bryce Hase eschews easy categorization, but his knack for infectious melody is undeniable. Echoing with mournful, skronking horns and warm organ tones straight out of a Beach House album, “trUst’20” is a paranoid introvert’s anthem. Alternating yawning falsettos and rapid-patter rhymes, the Dallas native implores us to limit our circle of trust to zero. The second single, “coMa”, moves at a quicker tempo as it expands upon the themes introduced in “trUst’20.” Driven by digitized guitars and epic synth swells, “coMa” is an eerie and romantic tale for late nights, teeming with vocal hooks as Bryce lashes out at an ex-lover who played with his heart: “Baby gimme some more/It was you and only you that I used to adore.” Bryce’s previously released songs “i know u been stressed <3″ and “WONDERLAND” have garnered him over 2 million streams since they took off on soundcloud last year and he has a lot more music on the way as well as an upcoming mix for NTS Radio.
