Singer-Songwriter and Rapper Call Me Karizma stopped on the European leg of his The Francis Tour, named after his latest album, at Frannz in Berlin and brought pure energy and chaos to the packed club.

The dedicated crowd was already waiting impatiently, eyes glued to the stage and drinks in their hands, during the break. And with the very first note they went totally wild, shouting and jumping along with almost no exception, immediately filling the room with energy. Every once in a while the screaming got louder, when CMK grabbed one of the fans’ phone and took a video with it.

With a setlist of faster songs, like “Black Leather“, mixed with some slower songs, like “Down“, the internet phenomenon showed off the range of his various sound influences and his ability to adapt and intertwine these, like his post-pop sound rooted in more punk-elements in some songs. As well as more rap-elements in others, riddled with his „razor-sharp“ wordplay. Also offering the fans a mix of older and newer songs and fan-favorites like “Monster (Under My Bed)“, “Seretonin“ and “Rebels“, which were all accompanied by them singing along and incited the mood even more. The American alt-rapper also managed to turn half of the club into a circle pit during those, which made the crowds energy reach its peak.

Call Me Karizma also joined the crowd multiple times as a prelude to the finale, as during the last song itself. He doesn’t only impress with his strong online presence, but also with his ability to captivate his fans and animate them to sing along and go wild, the whole duration of his set. His set felt a bit shorter, which can partly be attributed to the fact that his songs are also relatively short and maybe also touring reasons. Which didn’t quite seem to bother his fans, as they nevertheless remained happy and, above all, exhausted.
