GRAMMY® Award-winning, Diamond selling superstar Cardi B made her eagerly-anticipated return with the release of “Hot Shit (Feat. Ye & Lil Durk),” available now via Atlantic Records at all DSPs and streaming services HERE. First previewed with an epic teaser during the 2022 BET Awards ceremony, the track featuring three of the most powerful forces in modern rap is now joined by a larger-than-life visual. The official music video – directed by award-winning filmmaker Lado Kvataniya and featuring Cardi towering over her hometown of New York City.

The critically-acclaimed “Hot Shit (Feat. Ye & Lil Durk)” – which has already earned over 28 million global streams – has been making waves since its July 1st release, hailed as a “song of the summer” contender by such high profile outlets as COMPLEX and Entertainment TonightThe New York Times praised the track for seeing “Cardi at her most straightforwardly skillful,” writing “it also nods back to one of the most appealing qualities of her 2018 debut album, ‘Invasion of Privacy’: the way in which it, subtly and directly, aligned her with traditionalist New York-style hip-hop, a gesture aimed at naysayers. Are there any left, though?”

Produced by GRAMMY® Award nominee Tay Keith (Drake, Travis Scott, Lil Nas X), “Hot Shit” marks Cardi B’s first solo single in over a year, following the RIAA 2x platinum certified “Up,” which peaked at #1 on Billboard’s “Hot 100” upon its February 2021 release – her fifth chart-topping solo single, extending her Guinness World Record as the female rapper with the most #1 songs in “Hot 100” history and making history as the first female rap artist to earn two #1 singles unaccompanied by any other artist. A 2022 GRAMMY® Award nominee for “Best Rap Performance” (affirming Cardi B as the female rapper with the most ever nominations in that category), “Up” ultimately proved the top track by a female rap artist on both Billboard’s “Hot Rap Songs” and “Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs” charts for all of 2021.
