Cash Cobain shares video for fan favorite “Dunk”

Fresh off the release of his highly anticipated video single “Trippin On A Yacht”, which garnered attention from Playboi Carti during his Rolling Loud performance, Cash Cobain has just shared a video to throwback and fan favorite “Dunk” –– out now via Giant Music. The video directed by KZA features the Slizzy God parading around a high school as a basketball coach, nodding to his recent performance during halftime of the WNBA Playoffs. First released on his 2024 breakout album Play Cash Cobain, the track quickly emerged as a fan favorite. Sampling Soulja Boy‘s “Donk,” Cobain blends nostalgic elements with a contemporary drill framework in his signature Slizzy style. Coming off the heels of a production credit on Playboi Carti’s highly anticipated Music album, for the track “Fine Shit”, “Dunk” serves as a victory lap, further proving the uncharted waters Cash Cobain is sonically capable of navigating, offering a glimpse into the next musical dimension of NYC’s golden child. After setting the world ablaze with Sexy Drill, including being awarded the #1 song of 2024 by The New York Times, Cobain is back for his biggest year yet. “I’m trying to take over this year again,” he told People Magazine in an interview last week. “Last year I did good.
