SELLS OUT FIRST HEADLINING NAKED IN NORTH AMERICA TOUR

Poised for a breakout 2023, star on the rise Chappell Roan kicked off her first headlining tour across North America earlier this month and shares the much anticipated new video for her single, “Casual”. The video for the early hit, which landed on ‘Best of 2022’ lists in Rolling Stone, Billboard, LA Times, Glamour and more, was directed by Hadley Hillel and puts a cinematic twist on the heroine’s narrative with Chappell falling for the most unexpected love interest. “The video is a representation of how I dream of a serious relationship with someone in my head, but in reality it may be far from that. Even though it may not feel like it, if there are no labels, it’s just casual,” Chappell reflects on the video for “Casual”.

Co-produced by frequent collaborator Daniel Nigro (Olivia Rodrigo, Caroline Polachek) and Ryan Linvill (Olivia Rodrigo, Conan Gray), the song is a visceral ode to the painful ambiguities of modern dating and youthful lust, showcasing Chappell’s standout vocal talent and lyrical prowess.

Earlier this month, Chappell embarked on the Naked in North America tour, her first headlining tour across 20 cities across the US & Canada, selling out New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Toronto and more. Already gaining recognition for her work within and commitment to the LGBTQ+ community, Chappell has invited local drag artists in each market to open for her. Additionally Chappell has committed to donating a portion of the proceeds from every ticket sale from her Naked In North America Tour to For The Gworls, a Black and trans-led collective that curates parties to fundraise money to help Black transgender people pay for their rent, gender-affirming surgeries, smaller co-pays for medicines/doctor’s visits and travel assistance.
