CHELSEA CUTLER UNVEILS FOURTH STUDIO ALBUM IS THIS THE END? OUT NOW

Multi-platinum singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Chelsea Cutler’s brand new fourth studio album, IS THIS THE END?, is released via Mercury Records.

On the album, Chelsea says, “This album is an honest and comprehensive documentation of my life from 27 to 29 as I navigated rebuilding my life, my identity, and my understanding of the world. It is a two sided record to accurately honor the two years it took to create.

There is a song for everybody on this record. For every stage of heartbreak and for every moment of wrestling with the end of our youths and for every part of realizing that no matter what happens, you’re going to be okay.

Ahead of the album’s release, Chelsea unveiled “IS THIS THE END? (Short Film),” which takes fans on a journey of the story behind the record and offers an intimate glimpse into her inner monologue throughout the album creation process. Last night, Chelsea rang in the album release with a “One Night Only” album release underplay show at Harriet’s Rooftop at 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge, playing some of the songs on IS THIS THE END? live for the very first time.

Deeply influenced by New York City and the experiences that have shaped Chelsea’s adult life there, the 14-track album finds her reflecting on the chaos, exhilaration, heartbreak, uncertainty, and self-discovery of her late twenties. Across the album, late nights become early mornings, relationships begin and unravel, and moments of euphoria collide with pain and introspection. Sonically and visually, Chelsea also reconnects with the worlds that first made her want to become an artist, drawing inspiration from the music she loved in her late teens and early twenties.

IS THIS THE END? features Chelsea’s 2026 singles “BAD,” “SORRY I’M OBSESSED WITH YOU,” “WHAT ELSE?,” and “THIS TIME OF THE YEAR” alongside 10 brand new tracks. Together, the songs weave together the emotional and sonic world of IS THIS THE END?, a record rooted in the freedom that comes with accepting every version of yourself and realizing “the end is never really the end, after all.”
