Rising R&B star Chxrry22 releases her new EP Siren via XO Records/Republic Records. Featuring collaborations from Grammy-Winning artist Vory and rap legend Offset, Siren is a seven-track EP packed with tantalizing slow jams and body-moving R&B tracks that finds Chxrry22 at her most empowered and fully realized version of herself. Alongside the project, Chxrry22 released a series of alluring visualizers—watch HERE. “I’ve been working on this project for a very long time, but it wasn’t until the very end where I realized that the energy that I was embodying was that of a siren,” she explains. “Just one look of a siren can assert your dominance, and that’s your power. This is a soundtrack to the art of being a siren.”

Chxrry22’s self-proclaimed siren energy is reflected in songs across the EP like focus track “Favorite Girl”, featuring Offset—a flowing, bass-driven song about yearning to be someone’s favorite person that finds the renowned rapper opening up about what it means to love someone wholeheartedly. Don’t let her yearning fool you.

As Chxry22 puts it, “I’ve always been drawn to women with a dominant energy, and I don’t know why. It’s probably because I was always trying to find myself in them. Let me be clear, I don’t want to only be known for being beautiful, but if that’s what makes you pay attention, then I’ll use it to my advantage.”

Elsewhere on the project, beautifully layered vocals, empowering lyrics, and an undeniably sultry atmosphere coalesce on single “Never Had This”, where Chxrry22 lays down the law for any potential lovers. Vory, who has worked with the likes of Beyoncé, Jay-Z, and Drake, and received a Grammy for his work on The Carters’ Everything is Love, effortlessly enters the track with a rebellious take on past relationships. “Never Had This” followed “MORE” as another single from the project, with “MORE” being an ethereal and unapologetic anthem co-produced by Sensei Bueno (Snoh Aalegra), Matt Cohn (The Weeknd), Jacob Olofsson (Frank Ocean), and Jonah Christian (Normani, Tems, Foushée), that seamlessly weave tenderness with unfiltered honesty.

In November and December, Chxrry22 will play her first set of arena shows performing Siren as part of The Weeknd’s upcoming “After Hours Til Dawn” tour in Australia and New Zealand, visiting Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Auckland. With Siren, Chxrry22 continues to add groundbreaking work to her catalog since the debut of her beloved 2022 EP, The Other Side. Her distinctive style and captivating vocals continue to accumulate praise from both fans and critics at Billboard, Complex, Rolling Stone, Hypebeast and more.
