Entries open today, Wednesday 21 October, for the Coppa delle Alpi 2027 and the 1000 Miglia Experience Italy 2027. These two events will officially kick off the season of Red Arrow sporting events in the year of the Centenary, serving as the ideal competitive and experiential prelude to the grand race in May. An opportunity for collectors and drivers to test their skills behind the wheel and against the clock, immersed in exceptional scenery and accompanied by hospitality where every detail has been carefully considered.
Entries must be submitted via the official website www.1000miglia.it.
Coppa delle Alpi 2027 (4–7 March 2027)
Scheduled from 4 to 7 March 2027, the seventh edition of the Coppa delle Alpi will, for the second year running, feature the St. Moritz Edition format, establishing itself as one of the most challenging and prestigious winter regularity races on the international scene. The race, limited to a maximum of 70 cars built up to 1990, will be based in the famous Engadine resort and will wind its way along a cross-border route through Switzerland, Italy and Austria.
The event will get underway on Thursday 4 March in St. Moritz with administrative and technical checks, followed by an initial practice session designed to allow competitors to familiarise themselves with their cars and the winter road surface.
The second leg of the race will really get into full swing: on Friday 5 March, the convoy will set off from St. Moritz to immerse itself in the beauty of the Swiss National Park and the Val Müstair. Here, participants will cross the Italian border before heading up towards the Resia Pass and finally reaching the picturesque customs-free zone of Samnaun, also crossing into Austria. After lunch, the group will return to base, travelling through unique landscapes, starting with the Norbertshöhe, a breathtaking road in Austria.
The third day will bring new scenery with the descent into Valchiavenna and the crossing of Valtellina, passing through mountain passes such as the Maloja and Bernina Passes, before returning to St. Moritz via Val Poschiavo.

Entries for the Coppa delle Alpi 2027 will remain open until 5 February 2027.
1000 Miglia Experience Italy 2027 (1–4 April 2027)
From 1 to 4 April, it will be time for the 1000 Miglia Experience Italy 2027. Created to bring the spirit of the Red Arrow to life in a more relaxed format that combines a race with the pleasure of sightseeing and discovery, this year’s event is presented as a refined spring prologue in the Centenary year. The event will welcome a maximum of 60 crews, featuring a selection of modern cars (from 2001 to the present day) alongside the historic icons (up to the year 2000).
The itinerary will take participants through the art and nature of Tuscany, setting off from the heart of Florence, with the operational base in the splendid setting of Piazza Santa Maria Novella. From here, the route will take the cars to Vinci for a series of challenges in Leonardo’s birthplace and a guided tour following in the footsteps of the famous inventor, before returning to the Tuscan regional capital.
The second day will begin with a guided tour of the Florentine Renaissance, followed by the crews tackling the scenic hill roads of Chianti until lunch in the ancient village of Fonterutoli. The journey will then continue through unique towns such as San Gimignano, Pontedera and Pisa, heading towards Pietrasanta. The historic centre of this city of art will be the setting for an exciting 1-on-1 challenge, but it will also be the perfect place to enjoy an aperitif and discover “Little Athens” on a guided tour.
On Saturday 3 April, the convoy will head south, passing through unique landscapes and towns such as Lucca and San Miniato, with the final leg concluding in Piazza Vittorio Veneto in Saturnia, where participants will be able to take in the beauty of the spa town at their leisure before the gala dinner and prize-giving ceremony.
The entries for the 1000 Miglia Experience Italy 2027 will close on 26 February 2027.
