Crossmint Named to the 2026 CB Insights Fintech 100

Crossmint recognized for building stablecoin and payment infrastructure for fintechs and agentic platforms

CB Insights named Crossmint to its ninth annual Fintech 100, showcasing the 100 most promising fintech startups in the world.

“The 2026 Fintech 100 identifies the startups reshaping how financial services work behind the scenes. This year’s cohort spans payments, lending, wealth, and digital assets, and what unites them is the data behind their selection: strong deal activity, top-tier investors, and partnerships with industry leaders,” said Aisha Chandraker, Fintech Analyst at CB Insights.

“Finance is moving from legacy rails to modern money, with stablecoins that settle in seconds and AI agents that pay on someone’s behalf. Fintech companies will need to evolve, but they shouldn’t have to rebuild their stack to do it,” said Rodri Fernández Touza, Co-Founder of Crossmint. “We’re proud to be recognized for the work we’re doing to help companies make that shift.”

The list spans 21 categories across six sections of the fintech market, from payments and business finance to capital markets and connectivity. CB Insights’ research team picked winning companies based on its datasets, including deal activity, industry partnerships, team strength, investor strength, employee headcount, and proprietary metrics.

Crossmint is a multi-rail payment infrastructure platform that connects stablecoins, crypto, and traditional money through a single integration. Fintechs like neobanks, remittance providers, and payroll companies use Crossmint to launch stablecoin rails with products like wallets, on/offramps, and regulated stablecoin transfers. More than 40,000 enterprises and developers build on Crossmint, including MoneyGram, Western Union, and Tala.

In 2026, Crossmint secured MiCA and PSD2 authorization in the EU, launched global onramps in more than 160 countries, and introduced the Agent Commerce Toolkit for agentic payments. Its inclusion in CB Insights’ Fintech 100 reflects the increasing importance of stablecoin infrastructure and agentic payments in global commerce and finance. Crossmint is backed by Ribbit Capital, Franklin Templeton, Nyca Partners, First Round Capital, and Lightspeed Faction.
