CRUSHED RELEAS EXTRA LIFE EP REISSUE VIA GHOSTLY INTERNATIONAL

Los Angeles duo crushed releases the reissue of their 2023 debut EP extra life via Ghostly International. The EP’s reissue includes newly imagined versions of songs from DJ Python, who remixed “milksugar,” and Real Lies, who remixed “waterlily.” extra life is available on poisonbloom colored vinyl now HERE. Additionally, crushed shares their first official music video for the original version of “waterlily” today. Directed by Erynn Patrick, the “waterlily” video sees the duo riding a double-decker bus around LA and performing in a prismatically lit studio spliced together with enchanting images of waves and flowers. 

Speaking about the new video, crushed shares.”For our first music video we really hoped to capture the essence of our favorite 90’s pop videos that have inspired this project from the start. ‘waterlily’ is a very sentimental song to us, and Erynn Lamont and her team did a beautiful job of bringing it to life.”

And director Erynn Patrick shares, “From the first time I heard ‘waterlily,’ I felt a strong connection to the visuals evoked by the song. It’s beautiful and ethereal, instantly bringing to mind the classic imagery of alternative music videos from the 90’s and early 2000’s. Bre and I have been friends for nearly a decade, so I reached out to her right away to let her know I wanted to try to bring that energy to life.”

crushed will be performing a string of four North American shows this March and April, with performances in New York City, Philadelphia, Toronto, and Montreal, before the duo head to the United Kingdom for Outbreak Festival in June. Tickets are available at crushedworldwide.com.
