DaBaby Triumphantly Balances Life With Heartfelt Video ‘DONE TRYING’

DaBaby Recently Headlined Lovin Life Festival in Charlotte For 25,000 Fans

Following the release of the electrifying dance track “JUDY” last month, the eight-time GRAMMY-nominated artist DaBaby (South Coast Music Group/Interscope Records) shifts gears with his introspective new song “DONE TRYING”. Powered by an emotive vocal sample, Baby reflects on the loss of his cousin and his relentless determination. Despite his unwavering commitment to his goals, he acknowledges his human limitations and moments of fatigue. The authenticity of the track is amplified in the accompanying visuals, featuring cameos from Baby’s children and nephew, illustrating his juggling act between work and family life. “They know I paid them dividends to get their brother dropped / And never sold my soul, I might mess around, be another ‘Pac,” Baby delivers on the soulful track.

“DONE TRYING” is part of Baby’s three-track EP GHETTO SUPERSTAR, which also includes his “GHETTO SUPERSTAR “(FREESTYLE)” and “JUDY” with the emerging Detroit talent, Skilla Baby. This trio of tracks serves as a teaser for Baby’s forthcoming project, expected to be released this summer.

Baby is having an exceptional 2024, marked by his contributions to his home state of North Carolina. He made a surprise appearance during 50 Cent’s set at Dreamville Fest last April and performed for a crowd of 25,000 at the inaugural Lovin Life Fest in Charlotte. Prior to the concert, Baby delighted students at Garinger High School with a surprise performance and festival tickets.
