Danny Towers Unites The Florida Scene with “Right Now” ft. Bossman DLow & Lil Wet

The Orlando-Born Heavy-Hitter Recruits the Sunshine State’s Finest For New Video Single

A respected voice in the Florida rap scene for nearly a decade, Danny Towers reps his state to the fullest. He teams up with two fellow Florida boys Bossman DLow and Lil Wet to share his brand new single “Right Now.” A haunting banger backed by a poignant synth melody, pitter-pattering snares, and menacing bass, the track finds the swampy trio calling shots like veterans, putting the lessons their upbringing taught them on full display. Danny explains his hustler mentality: “I had to cut some n***as off cuz you can’t take everbody with you / I knew this sh*t was gon’ pay off just stay consistent.” 

In the video, directed by BennyFlash, Danny mobs with his crew outside a trap house, trading off verses with DLow and Lil Wet under an eerie sky. The threat of the police looms with flashes of red and blue illuminating the dark space, but Danny is unfazed, continuing to spit bars and flex his wads of cash.

“Right Now” arrives as Danny’s latest single, following a stretch of recent collaborative singles, like “Double Park” with GT, “Special Bullets” with Robb Bank$ and the Tony Shhnow-featuring “Heavy.” These singles arrived in the wake of Safe House, his 2023 collaborative project with DJ Scheme,home to the viral single, “Florida Water” ft. Luh Tyler & Ski Mask The Slump God, which earned praise from XXL, Stereogum, HotNewHipHop, and more. “Florida Water” inspired a photo dump trend on TikTok, where creators drop the flyest selfies in their Photos app as the beat drops and Danny’s infectious hook, “Threw him in that water, I’m from Florida, but my wrist Cuban,” gives way to Luh Tyler’s croaking verse. Peaking at #1 on TikTok’s trending charts, the song generated over 200k video creations on TikTok, over 35 million streams on all platforms, and reached the top spot on SoundCloud’s daily chart.
