DAVID BISBAL SHINES WITH A SPECTACULAR PERFORMANCE AT THE 2023 LATIN AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS

RECEIVED THE “PIONEER AWARD” IN RECOGNITION OF HIS

20 YEARS IN MUSIC

David Bisbal, who continues celebrating his twentieth anniversary in music, adds to his roster of recognitions after being awarded with a special award – Latin American Music Awards: Pioneer Award – during the eight edition of the Latin AMAs which was celebrated this Thursday, April 20th in the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas. This award “recognizes David Bisbal’s brilliant career where he has combined the traditional rhythms of his hometown of Andalucía with pop.” 

The Spanish singer celebrated this recognition by singing his most recent release, “AJEDREZ” in a medley where he was joined by the legendary Olga Tañon and emerging star Angela Aguilar, where the two artists paid homage to David by singing versions of “Buleria” and “Ave Maria” in a duet with David, recpectively. Amidst an exciting environment, Bisbal took over the stage allowing his most profound and romantic declarations flow as he sang, “Esclavo De Sus Besos.”

Throughout the past two decades, David Bisbal has achieved 60 Platinum Albums, 20 Gold, 11 Diamond, among many other recognitions. He was also a pioneer by doing collaborations with international artists like Rihanna, Carrie Underwood and Miley Cyrus, singing in Spanish or combining languages, proving that his culture is part of his identity. This achievement pays tribute to all of these initiatives, which today position him at the height of global music. 

David Bisbal will kick off his new tour in June, “Me Siento Vivo Tour 2023,” with which he will travel through Spain from June to October and continue on to Latin America. This tour will feature a new production and there will be surprises within its repertoire, given the artist will tease some songs from his next album, ‘Me siento Vivo,’ that will be released in the fall.
