Fans lined up around the block outside The Hollywood Palladium on Wednesday evening, anxiously awaiting the start of Destroy Lonely’s LA tour stop. It was the sixth stop, in support of his latest album, No Stylist, released via Playboi Carti’s record label Opium.
Thousands of fans filed into the cavernous venue and formed a sea of all-black clothing as DJ Blak Boy (Opium) kept the energy high with seamlessly mixed tracks. Within minutes, the crowd was opening up mosh pits and raging.

Homixide Gang, also signed to Opium, came out and brought the energy to an even higher level. The duo, Homixide Beno! and Homixide Meechie, eventually had the entire venue chanting “Homicide” over and over.
They played their most popular songs like 5unna and 55Lifestyle, along with newer tracks off of their latest album Homixide Lifestyle.

As soon as Destroy Lonely took the stage, the crowd erupted. A few initially-small moshpits grew within seconds, merging to form a cavernous gap in the crowd. The massive bassline of JETLGGD hit, and within seconds, the crowd surged together.
Lonely’s set featured popular songs like Bane and Dangerous, along with songs from NS+, the deluxe version of the album. NS+ just dropped on November 18th, but fans in the pits already knew every word.

Lonely closed out the show with one of his best-known songs, No Stylist. Water bottles, shoes, sweatshirts, and hats flew through the air on the drops, and fans in the pits were going harder than ever.
By the end of Lonely’s set, die-hard fans stumbled out of the pits: some sweaty, some bruised, but all smiling. Concert-goers who were just shoving against each other started to hug and exchange instagrams, showing the community aspect of Lonely’s fanbase, and that this show was just a stepping stone for Destroy Lonely on his way to the top.
