DIAMOND CAFE PERFORMS “ANGEL DUST” ON SONGS WITH STRINGS
The unique LA-based music series Songs with Strings has released its latest live video featuring rising pop/R&B artist Diamond Cafe, performing a string quartet rendition of his new single, “Angel Dust”. Filmed live on Melrose Avenue next to Community Goods, the performance recasts the song’s electro-funk production as a string quartet arrangement, performed by wholesoul with Diamond Cafe on vocals.. The collaboration is the latest installment of the series, which pairs emerging artists with a live string quartet to reimagine their original songs. Diamond Cafe joins previous participants including Flyana Boss, Cure for Parnoiai, and India Carney.
