DON’T MOVE, THE NEW INDEPENDENT CREATURE FEATURE FROM IMPRACTICAL JOKERS’ JAMES “MURR” MURRAY, JUMP SCARES ITS WAY INTO THEATERS TODAY!

After a whirlwind debut tour from New York to Kansas City and Los Angeles earlier this week, the creature feature horror thriller DON’T MOVE from James Murray’s Impractical Studios opens in theaters nationwide TODAY.

Getting the film into theaters has been a full blown grass-roots effort led by Impractical Studios, filmmakers and cast. The film will open in over 520 theaters this weekend.

Based on his bestselling horror novel, DON’T MOVE was co-written and produced by James “Murr” Murray, one of the stars of the long-running hit TV show ‘Impractical Jokers.’

The film stars Lyndsy Fonseca (Kick-Ass franchise, Hot Tub Time Machine), rapper/singer/songwriter Russ (M. Night Shyamalan’s Trap), Hunter King (Holiday Touchdown), Joseph Lee Anderson (Tyler Perry’s Divorce in Black, ‘Young Rock’) with Tom Cavanagh (‘The Flash,’ ‘DC’s Legends of Tomorrow’) and Rob Riggle (The Hangover, Step Brothers) alongside special appearances by T-Pain (Furious 7), Brian “Q” Quinn (‘Impractical Jokers’) and Matt Biedel (‘The Fall of the House of Usher’).

DON’T MOVE is directed by Maclain Nelson and written by James Murray, Maclain Nelson and Darren Wearmouth. The film was produced by James Murray, David M. Wulf (Atonement, Return To Silent Hill, The Card Counter, Call Jane) and Ethan Berman.

A church group’s annual retreat turns deadly when they wander into the wrong part of the Ozark wilderness, and something starts picking them off, one by one. Suspicion falls on Ricky (Russell “Russ” Vitale), the troublemaker of the group. But the real threat is far worse.

Deep in the forest, wrapped in a labyrinth of webs, the group is pursued by a terrifying prehistoric arachnid that hunts by vibration. It’s up to Megan (Lyndsy Fonseca) to hold what’s left of the group together and get them out alive. When every step could be their last, they only have one choice: Don’t Move.
