EKKSTACY shares new single and video “she will be missed”
EKKSTACY shares his new unruly single “she will be missed” alongside its Jason Nocito-directed music video. “she will be missed” follows EKKSTACY’s recent releases “seventeen” and “mr mole”, marking it as the third single since his acclaimed self-titled album from earlier this year.
With driving drums and effortless vocals, “she will be missed”’ is injected with a contagious high energy and sees EKKSTACY building upon the foundation he’s laid throughout 2024, making confident strides in the world of post-punk as he closes out his biggest year yet.
Talking more about the track, EKKSTACY shared, “’she will be missed’ is a song about leaving someone behind. I’m not really sure who, a lot of people have come in and out of my life rather quickly recently. It didn’t take me long to write this song, I made it in 2 takes off the top of my head. This song’s how I’ve been feeling the last few years. The video is beautiful, and I’m excited for everyone to see it.”
