ELA TAUBERT JOINS THE JONAS BROTHERS AS THE ONLY LATIN ARTIST SURPRISE GUEST ON THEIR ‘JONAS20: GREETINGS FROM YOUR HOMETOWN TOUR’ IN HOUSTON, TX

Colombian singer-songwriter ELA TAUBERT stole the spotlight last night as the surprise guest during THE JONAS BROTHERS’ sold-out ‘Jonas20: Greetings From Your Hometown Tour’ stop in Houston, Texas. ELA is the only Latin artist to be invited as a surprise guest on the Jonas Brothers’ 20th anniversary tour to date, thus far.
Performing before a crowd of over 19,000 fans at the Toyota Center, ELA reunited with JOE JONAS where they sang their collaborative hit “¿Cómo Pasó? (con Joe Jonas),” a bilingual anthem that explores the complexities of love and heartbreak. The set continued with a high-energy version of the JONAS BROTHERS’ song “Slow Motion,” where ELA was also joined by NICK and KEVIN JONAS for a memorable, full-band moment.
This marks the third time ELA and JOE JONAS perform “¿Cómo Pasó?” together, having their debut take place during the 25th Anniversary of the Latin GRAMMYs® in Miami last November, where ELA also took home one of the most coveted recognitions of the night, the Best New Artist award turning her into a Latin GRAMMY winner. Originally a global smash, “¿Cómo Pasó?” has amassed over 500 million combined streams and earned RIAA platinum certification. The remix with JOE JONAS elevated the track to new heights, blending English and Spanish lyrics into a poignant cross-cultural ballad about love’s rise and fall.
ELA is currently in the midst of her ‘PREGUNTAS A LAS 11:11 TOUR,’ which has already made waves across Puerto Rico (sold out), Spain (Madrid, Valencia, and Barcelona), and Latin America (Chile, Buenos Aires, Lima.) This week, she heads to Mexico for sold-out shows in Mexico City, Guadalajara, and Monterrey before kicking off the U.S. leg of the tour, sponsored by Toyota, with stops in Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Orlando and Miami.
