EST GEE RELEASES BIGGER THAN THE DEVIL
EST Gee drops his highly anticipated new project, BIGGER THAN THE DEVIL. The 17-song set finds the revered Louisville-bred star as clear-eyed and ambitious as ever, taking stock of the world he’s built both in and outside of music, while staying firmly rooted in the relentless rap he’s made his name on. With a close-knit guestlist and no filler, BIGGER THAN THE DEVIL is packed wall to wall with pulse-pounding storytelling, sharp block wisdom, and booming production.
The never-before-heard “WAY MORE” exemplifies the project’s dominant spirit. With a scene-setting opening line, Gee conveys he’s ready: “My daddy say when you a big fish, you can’t take the bait / Closed my eyes, bowed my head / I wasn’t scared, I was saying grace.” He then unloads bar after bar that makes clear he’s doing everything bigger, better, and badder. “We got way more skrilla than them … We kept it way more realer than them.”
Across BIGGER THAN THE DEVIL, survival, loyalty, and an unwavering sense of self remain central as Gee considers the experiences that shaped him, how far he’s come, and who remains by his side. YFN Lucci and Skrt join for “TRANQUILIZER,” while the previously heard features come from Gee’s inner circle: the triumphant “YA DIGG” with EST SkiMike and the hard-hitting “YOU KNOW IT” featuring 86Snot, EST Spit, and EST4Nikk.
Gee revealed the album trailer mere days ago, teasing tracklist opener “I GOT IT LIT,” which features another unmissable reference to rap’s past, sampling the intro of Jeezy’s Trap or Die. Fan favorites “SUPREME SANDERS” and “THUG CLUB” also appear on the set, as do the still-sizzling summer singles: SOMETIMES,” a provocative ode to the luxury of choice; and “CALL SPITTA,” a razor-sharp statement of supremacy with an icy, matter-of-fact hook: “Y’all did it flawed when it was y’all’s — now it’s our turn.”
All of this builds on a massive 2025 for Gee, who dropped two projects including his surprise summer set My World, which won acclaim from XXL, NPR, okayplayer., VIBE, and HNHH. The 14-song set finds strength in rawness, with just one guest (CMG boss Yo Gotti) joining Gee at his most primal, leaning into a head-down, workmanlike flow. He also released I Ain’t Feeling You, with the singles “My Love” featuring Veeze and Rylo Rodriguez, and “Houstonatlantaville” featuring Lil Baby and Travis Scott.
Additionally, Gee recently announced his upcoming fall EU/UK Bigger Than The Devil Tour. The run picks up in Amsterdam, on October 14, and wraps in Manchester, England, on October 30. You can find tickets HERE and his full itinerary below.
