EVAN GIIA’S NEW EP, ENDORPHINS, SET FOR AUGUST 6 RELEASE

New Single, “In Motion” Ft. Reo Cragun & MEMBA

EVAN GIIA Will Kick Off U.S. Headline Tour On October 22 Following Her Summer Run With Louis The Child

Astralwerks will release EVAN GIIA’s new EP, ENDORPHINS, on August 6. Today, as the pre-order launched, EVAN GIIA released her edgy, inspiring new single, “IN MOTION” Ft. Reo Cragun & MEMBA. EVAN GIIA and Cragun trade off on the verses, capturing the kind of “us against the world” romance that makes it possible to rise above any obstacle. Listen HERE and view the visualizer HERE.

“‘Put it in motion, chasing endorphins’ is one of my lyrics that describes who I am the most. I have always believed that everything can be fixed with a little movement,” explains EVAN GIIA. “That lyric was written about two years ago but it stuck with me. It was too good to be forgotten so we decided to bring it to life with a new beat and ‘In Motion’ was born. Reo’s vocals were added on top and it’s a pretty banger.”

Reo Cragun recently made his Capitol Records debut with the mixtape Growing Pains after generating a buzz with singles like “Inconsiderate,” “Peso” and his 2017 collaboration with Nipsey Hussle, “Lost.” EVAN GIIA first teamed up with MEMBA in 2016, featuring on their single“Heat of the Moment” alongside Hoosh. The acclaimed New York-based duo recently launched an ambitious series of four EPs that align with the phases of the moon.

ENDORPHINS also includes the breezy track “MOOD SWINGS,” which has already gotten airplay on BBC Radio 1. PLNKWIFI said, “there’s always an emotional and physical reaction tied into our favorite songs. EVAN GIIA’s latest single ‘Mood Swings’ will not only bring out these reactions, but they’ll jump out [as she] gracefully describes the ever-changing state of a whirlwind of emotions.”

“I will always remember 2020 as the year I finally understood my purpose as EVAN GIIA. To uplift, motivate and inspire my fans. Coming from a background in fitness, I have always envisioned people moving, sweating and being active to my songs,” says EVAN GIIA. “While running on the treadmill one morning it dawned on me, I was trying to infuse my fans with endorphins! The EP is an exploration of each way that I experience ENDORPHINS in my life. From watching someone I love sleep to blasting my favorite song while working out, each song embodies a different feeling. I am incredibly proud of this body of work and hope that after listening, my fans will have the motivation to tackle their life head on.”

Tickets are on sale HERE for EVAN GIIA’s U.S. headline tour, which kicks off at The Sinclair in Boston on October 22 and wraps up with a hometown show at Elsewhere in Brooklyn on November 19. She’ll join Louis The Child this summer on their U.S. amphitheater tour. She’ll also perform at the Life Is Beautiful Festival in Las Vegas, at the Breakaway North Carolina Music Festival, Suwannee Hulaween and at Holy Ship! Wrecked in Tulum, Mexico.
