F5VE RELEASE ‘UFO’ REMIX FT. DORIAN ELECTRA & COUNT BALDOR
Japanese girl group sensation f5ve have today released a remix of their latest single ‘UFO’ featuring Dorian Electra and Count Baldor, out now via LDH Records.
Joining forces with alt-pop futurist Dorian Electra and acclaimed producer Count Baldor – who co-produced f5ve’s previous single ‘Underground’ – this exhilarating remix transforms the intergalactic pop track into a pulsating dance anthem. Dorian brings their unmistakable edge on an otherworldly verse, while Count Baldor adds his signature flair to the production. Both artists are known for their cutting edge remixes for artists such as Lady Gaga, 100 gecs, Tove Lo and more. The single is also accompanied by a visualiser, directed by Crystalline Structures Studio.
Speaking about the remix, f5ve said: “We had the honor of having our favorite and respected artists, Dorian Electra and Count Baldor, remix UFO! They have both been very close friends to us, and their unique worldviews and super cool edgy styles has made this remix an absolute masterpiece!!!”
Dorian Electra said: I think f5ve is one of the most exciting groups at the moment and it was an honor to remix a track worked on by so many of my favorite producers (ag cook, bloodpop, nömak, and of course, count baldor). read here for more.

Count Baldor added: “the UFO remix request was sent to me telepathically. It was as if my body took over and created the remix using Ableton, I called Dorian to discuss, but it wasn’t really my voice talking, if you know what I mean?”
Co-produced by BloodPop (Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Rina Sawayama), A.G. Cook(Charli XCX, Caroline Polachek, Utada Hikaru), and Nomak, ‘UFO’ is named after Japan’s popular claw game machines and celebrates the thrill of hitting an arcade’s jackpot. Directed by Charlotte Rutherford (PinkPantheress, Nicki Minaj) and Crystalline Structures Studio (IVE), the official music video continues their dedication to showcasing Japanese cultural elements, as it depicts the women of f5ve as extraterrestrial fashion mavens who abduct the residents of tokyo with giant claws that descend from the sky. As they collect people and objects in tiny capsules – a homage to Japan’s beloved Gashapon machines – the girls chant, “GACHA, GACHA, GACHA… find out!”
The UFO remix marks f5ve’s first release of 2025, and follows their whimsical single‘Lettuce’ and high-energy dance anthem ‘Underground’ and it’s remix EP, which featured DJ ad Producer TeddyLoid, all-star art collective YAGI EXHIBITION, DJ and producer Doss, Japanese DJ and producer DJ CHARI & Tokyo-based group STARKIDS. With millions of streams worldwide, co-signs from global superstars like Rosalía, A.G Cook, Grimes, and ongoing editorial support from i-D, NME, PAPER and more, f5ve continue to cement their place as the next breakout group.
