fakemink And Skepta New Track ‘Chiltern Firehouse’

Two of British music’s most distinctive voices, fakemink and Skepta, come together on new single ‘Chiltern Firehouse’.

Bringing together two generations of British rap, the collaboration connects Skepta, a defining figure in the evolution of grime and UK music, with fakemink, one of the most compelling artists to emerge from London’s new underground.

The collaboration follows a growing connection between the two artists, who linked up at CLOUT Festival in Warsaw earlier this summer and have since publicly supported one another across social media. Both also featured in Stone Island’s campaign, further reflecting their shared presence across British music and fashion. Their recent exchanges have fuelled anticipation around a collaboration.

For fakemink, whose uncompromising approach to music and image has attracted a rapidly growing international audience, the collaboration marks another significant moment in his rise. Following the release of his 2026 album Terrified., he continues to establish himself as one of the most original voices of his generation.

For Skepta, the release arrives ahead of his forthcoming album The Fork and Knife, out 6 November. Having spent more than two decades shaping British music and its global influence, Skepta continues to champion new talent while pushing his own creative output forward.

‘Chiltern Firehouse’ captures a meeting of two artists at different stages of their careers, connected by a shared understanding of London’s music and cultural landscape.
