FREDO BANG “CHOPSTICK” NEW SINGLE & MUSIC VIDEO OUT NOW
Fredo Bang has officially released his latest single, “Chopstick,” along with an accompanying music video via EMPIRE. He built anticipation earlier this week by sharing a video trailer on Instagram. The new track marks Fredo’s second solo release of 2025, following, “D!e Slow,” and kicks off a hot streak of hard-hitting, introspective singles that set the tone for a big year ahead for the Baton Rouge native.
“Chopstick” showcases Fredo’s vulnerable lyricism as he reflects on the personal trauma and loss he endured while rising from the streets of Louisiana to the forefront of rap. Witty metaphors and his signature melodic delivery—paired with trunk-rattling 808s and an emotional guitar lick—create an exhilarating sense of urgency that draws listeners in.
Directed by Frankie Fire, the accompanying music video for “Chopstick” amplifies the track’s storyline, unfolding in the heart of Chinatown with a playful language dub scene that sets a suspenseful and exhilarating tone. Fredo soon finds himself entangled in an underground gambling ring, where the operation quickly turns into a cinematic flurry of mafia-style hits and action-packed, kung-fu-inspired fight sequences.
