GRAMMY® nominated global música mexicana powerhouse Fuerza Regida lit up the stage at the 26th Annual Latin GRAMMY® Awards last night, delivering a high-energy performance that thrilled the audience and highlighted their first-ever Latin GRAMMY® nomination for Best Regional Song with “ME JALO,” their acclaimed collaboration with Grupo Frontera.

The band opened their set with the nominated track “ME JALO,” joined onstage by Grupo Frontera, delivering a performance that immediately drew the audience in. The staging echoed the song’s visuals, with a blue backdrop reminiscent of an old-school Western film, creating a cinematic atmosphere that set the tone. They then transitioned into “MARLBORO ROJO”, where the stage shifted to a bold red backdrop featuring a Chevrolet 454 front and center, giving unmistakable Chalino Sánchez vibes and visually amplifying the Marlboro-themed aesthetic of the track.

“ME JALO” became a cultural phenomenon this year, dominating charts and social platforms worldwide. It reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Latin Airplay and Regional Mexican Airplay charts and sparked a viral wave on social media, inspiring over one million fan creations across the globe. Its chart success, global virality, and cross-border reach highlight why the track earned recognition from the Latin GRAMMY® Awards, marking it as a defining force in música mexicana’s expanding influence. “MARLBORO ROJO” didn’t fall far behind, becoming the band’s fourth No. 1 on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay chart and their second No. 1 as a solo act.

As the group looks ahead, Fuerza Regida is preparing for the return of the second annual Don’t Fall In Love Fest at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino on November 22. Led by frontman Jesús Ortiz Paz (JOP) and presented by Bobby Dee Presents, the festival brings together música mexicana and rap in a high-energy celebration for fans. This year’s lineup includes Fuerza Regida along with a star-studded group of performers including Future, Banda MS, Los Tucanes de Tijuana, Chief Keef, Clave Especial, Saweetie and more. The festival will also donate a portion of the proceeds to charitable initiatives, including immigration legal assistance for the Latin community.

With their standout Latin GRAMMY® performance and their upcoming festival return, Fuerza Regida continues to drive música mexicana’s global momentum, remaining authentic, fearless, and unapologetically true to their roots.
