FUERZA REGIDA KICKS OFF SECOND LEG OF TOUR WITH TWO SOLD-OUT NIGHTS IN CHICAGO
GRAMMY-nominated Musica Mexicana powerhouse group Fuerza Regida kicked off the second leg of their historic “This is Our Dream Tour” with two sold-out nights at Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre. The second leg will continue across ten new dates and will see the group playing amphitheaters and arenas in secondary markets across the country, including Charlotte, Atlanta, and the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
The first leg of Fuerza Regida’s This is Our Dream Tour, marked a huge milestone for the group as they played some of the most iconic stadiums on the fully sold out first run including Dodger Stadium in LA and Citi Field in NY. They sold over 350,000 tickets in their first nine shows. The stadium shows featured an impressive lineup of surprise guests including, YG, Marshmello, OhGeesy, Chino Pacas, Clave Especial, Calle 24, Chuyin, Rey Mysterio and more.
Most recently Fuerza Reigda made an appearance on the Jennifer Hudson Show to chat and perform their hit song “Por Esos Ojos” in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. Watch HERE. They also recently announced their Mexico dates, making history as the first-ever artist to sell out seven shows at Palacio de los Deportes in under 24 hours. Due to overwhelming fan demand, they added an eighth date, setting a new record for consecutive shows at the venue, a record previously held by Metallica.
Fuerza Regida is set to receive the Billboard Vanguard Award at the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards, recognizing a career defined by innovation and an unconventional creative vision that has pushed the boundaries of música mexicana and expanded the genre’s reach around the world. The group, a 12-time finalist this year, will also take the stage for a special performance during the longest-running and most prestigious awards show in Latin music.
The band’s momentum extends far beyond the stage. They were nominated Best Latin & Best Group at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards. This past year, Fuerza Regida received their first Grammy nomination for Best Regional Mexican Music Album for “111XPANTIA,” making history as the first Regional Mexican album ever nominated for Album of the Year. They won their first American Music Award for Best Latin Duo or Group, earned an iHeartRadio Music Award for Regional Mexican Artist of the Year, and most recently took home Best Remix at the Tu Música Urbano Awards in Puerto Rico for their collaboration “Cuando No Era Cantante Remix.”
Since their formation in 2015, the band—featuring frontman Jesús Ortiz Paz (JOP), José “Pelón”García, Moisés López, Khrystian Ramos, and Samuel Jáimez—has amassed over 19.4 million followers on social media, 48 million monthly Spotify listeners, and 26 billion streams across all Platforms. Fuerza Regida made Latin music history with “111XPANTIA,” by reaching #2 on the all-genre Billboard 200 Albums Chart, the highest position for an album in the genre.
