The legendary singer-songwriter Gerardo Ortiz, who was recently nominated for the Latin American Music Awards (Latin AMAs), in the Best Regional Mexican Artist, category continues to work rigorously with passion and dedication in his music career, which is why in recent months he has been working on various collaborations and today he releases his single “Disimulando” alongside Luis R Conriquez.

This romantic song is a melody written by Gerardo Ortiz that was recorded at the beginning of his career, becoming a classic from his album Las Tundras, and recently the interpreter decided to re-record it in collaboration with Luis R, giving it a fresh and modern touch while combining the diverse styles that both soloists have.

The “Disimulando” video and track were recorded live in the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco, where the artists were accompanied by a Sinaloan band, but they also incorporated instruments such as a bass, tololoche and harmony into the melody, which at the same time gave the song a more versatile feel.
