They made their way to the pit and overheard a few fans discussing the headliner, Glass Beams. “Their previous EP had four songs,” a fan remarked, referencing Glass Beams’ “Mirage” EP. Fans were witnessing the growth of Glass Beams and were thrilled that the Australian-based band had released enough music to embark on a world tour. The show was sold out, and the atmosphere was electric. Soulful classics like “Onda” by Cassiano and “Jeene Ka Naam” by Asha Bhosle played before the show, setting a nostalgic and vibrant mood. White cans of Miller Lite were easily spotted throughout the venue as attendees enjoyed their drinks. The crowd was diverse, with fans of all ages, including a few couples enjoying a date night at Variety Playhouse. As showtime approached, people made phone calls, urging their friends to arrive soon and not miss the excitement.
