Unplugged Performance Begins Shipping Long-Awaited UP INVINCIBLE® 2.5-Inch Lift Kit for Tesla Cybertruck

Unplugged Performance announced that the production-ready UP INVINCIBLE® 2.5-Inch Lift Kit for Tesla Cybertruck is now available to order and install. Developed over more than two years of research and development and refined through some of the harshest real-world conditions imaginable, the new lift kit represents a major milestone for Cybertruck owners seeking meaningful off-road capability without compromising the vehicle’s sophisticated factory systems.

The launch marks the arrival of a product that was not rushed to market. Instead, it was engineered through an unusually extensive development process that included trail drivingoverlandingdaily uselong-distance highway travel, and one of the most punishing validation environments in American off-road motorsport: the Mint 400.

The UP INVINCIBLE® 2.5-Inch Lift Kit was designed specifically for the unique architecture of the Tesla Cybertruck. Unlike conventional trucks, the Cybertruck combines factory air suspension, ride height sensors, steer-by-wire, and rear-wheel steering in a way that makes suspension development substantially more complex. For Unplugged Performance, that meant a lift kit could not simply make the vehicle taller. It had to work with the vehicle’s existing systems, preserve factory functionality, and improve capability without introducing new compromises.

The result is a lift system that raises the Cybertruck where additional clearance matters most, lifting the battery 2.5 inches while maintaining the integrity of the factory suspension system. Rather than relying on ride-height sensor manipulation or air suspension overextension, the system was developed as a proper mechanical solution engineered around the Cybertruck’s original design.

“Our goal was never to release the first lift kit. It was to release the right lift kit,” said the Unplugged Performance Product Development team. “The Cybertruck is unlike anything else on the road, and it demanded a level of engineering that matched that complexity. We tested it in the real world, found the limits of the prototype, improved the design, and now we are proud to deliver the final production version to customers.”

The UP INVINCIBLE® 2.5-Inch Lift Kit includes high-clearance front and rear upper control arms developed to accommodate the revised suspension geometry while maintaining correct air suspension sensor positioning. Machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum and paired with stainless steel hardware, the system was designed for durability, precision, and compatibility with demanding use cases. The comprehensive system also includes supporting components required to maintain proper alignment and suspension function under the new ride height.

For owners using their Cybertruck well beyond pavement, the benefits are immediate and tangible. The increase in ground clearance improves approach, breakover, and departure angles while allowing the truck to more confidently handle uneven terrain, rocky trails, deep ruts, steep driveways, job sites, and remote access roads. The revised geometry also addresses a core limitation identified during development: under extreme off-road compression, the factory upper control arm can become a limiting factor. By optimizing that geometry and increasing clearance, the lift kit improves both capability and confidence in demanding terrain.

A defining chapter in the development story came earlier this year when Unplugged Performance installed the prototype version of the lift kit on the only Cybertruck competing in the Mint 400. That race effort delivered exactly the kind of data the company wanted most: real stress, real consequences, and real feedback. During the event, an attachment pin failed under race conditions, exposing a weakness in the prototype. Rather than masking the issue, Unplugged Performance used the experience to redesign the affected area, reinforce the system, and reduce the overall component count to eliminate additional potential failure points.

That process helped transform the race prototype into the final production-ready system now being offered to customers. In that sense, the Mint 400 did not just test the lift kit. It made the final product better.

“This is the version that exists because we were willing to push the prototype far beyond what nearly any customer ever will,” the team added. “We would rather learn those lessons ourselves than leave them for our customers to discover.”

Unplugged Performance is now shipping the UP INVINCIBLE® 2.5-Inch Lift Kit for customers ready for a radical upgrade to their Cybertruck. For owners who prefer the recommended professional installation, the company is also offering installation services through its Hawthorne, California facility in the Los Angeles area and its Fremont, California location serving the Bay Area.

The company expects the lift kit to become a key foundation for a wide range of Cybertruck builds, from off-road and overland-focused trucks to aggressive street-oriented builds seeking a stronger visual stance and a more commanding presence. By preserving the Cybertruck’s factory ride height adjustability and working in harmony with Tesla’s original vehicle systems, the kit opens the door to highly capable builds without forcing owners into crude or compromised solutions.

As deliveries begin, Unplugged Performance says it is looking forward to seeing how Cybertruck owners use the system as the starting point for their own vision.

The UP INVINCIBLE® 2.5-Inch Lift Kit is available now through Unplugged Performance, starting at $9,995.00. Learn more about the UP INVINCIBLE 2.5-Inch Lift Kit here: https://youtu.be/SXimlmgkU30
