Starting off the night, British dance/pop vocalist Daisy Guttridge, based in Los Angelos, CA took the stage. Daisy kicked off the night strong with her enthusiasm coming over the crowd preparing everyone for what is to come. Her set included hit song “Waiting” by producer duo Vicetone, and fan favorite “I found you” by Daisy herself. Although most of the crowd was not aware of her music when they arrived she defiantly ended her set with quite a few new fans.

The time has come when the room became dark and a flood of cheers rang over the crowd as brothers Jeff and Kevin Saurer, known as Hippie Sabotage, claimed the stage. The born and raised California brothers were not shy about portraying the hippie vibe as the show is the equivalent to a stoners paradise. Their high energy and intense beat drops is exactly what the crowd needed to escape reality for the entire 90 minutes. They were sure to stack their setlist full of an even split between straight EDM including remix of viral song “Habits (stay high)” (originally by artist Tove Lo), and alt grunge style infused with their specific EDM sound. Brother Jeff Saurer took on vocals and was the guitarist for the night making everyone fall in love.
He serenaded the crowd when singing two fan favorites in particular “Devil Eyes” and my personal favorite “Trust Nobody”. As the night came to a close they couldn’t just end the performance without a spectacular ending. After they exited the stage they were sure to come back for one last epic guitar riff encore to say goodbye. Hippie Sabotage came to Detroit to put on a show to remember and they achieved that goal with perfection.
