Humanable, the first-to-market, patent pending solution to the disruption of generative AI in music and other art forms, announced today it will launch the world’s first fully human social media platform in order to amplify the voice of human artists and facilitate connections with fans seeking authentic human-created music and lifestyle. In addition to its core services of certifying music as 100% human-created and 100% free from generative AI, the new Humanable social media platform was developed as an additional benefit for Humanable songwriters, musicians, and artists as well as their human fans. The platform enables the sharing of certified music, posting details on upcoming shows with links to ticketing platforms, posting videos of performances, DMs between artists and fans, exclusive content posted by artists, artists finding band members, and more. Launch is slated for early in the fourth quarter of 2025.

There will not be any cost to fans and other non-commercial users to join the platform. For artists and others wishing to have commercial accounts, the monthly subscription will be waived for all U.S.-based Humanable music members (Humanable membership costs $6.95/month and $9.95/month for other commercial accounts). Accounts for advertisers and human influencers will be priced on an individual account basis based upon the value that the advertisement and content bring to Humanable artists and fans.

While focused at first on the human music industry, the platform will not be exclusively for music. Any 18+ year old human within the United States can join and discuss appropriate topics. All influencers will be verified to be not only human but the particular human they claim to be. All ads will be seen only by humans and not fake account holders. The usership may expand into the rest of North America, Europe, Australia, and other locations over the coming months.

“The music industry is now seeing the negative effects of unchecked generative AI that Humanable’s co-founders have been warning about for the past year. From fully AI-generated songs from AI-generated bands reaching millions of unsuspecting listeners, we’re now witnessing the advent of ‘music designers’ who bypass royalty rights and use music generation platforms to create celebrity status to sell clicks and other goods and services,” said Lilian McGrady, President and co-founder of Humanable. “This is why Humanable launched to certify human-only music—so that consumers still have choices even in the flood of GenAI outputs. Human fans want real connection with real artists on social media, not with bots and GenAI outputs. Humanable’s social media platform allows artists and fans to opt out of the fake world.”

Fraud and other harms on bot-infested social media platforms continue to grow. The losses to consumers due to fraud on social media tally in the billions of dollars Humanable’s human-only social media platform flips the narrative on scammers. “If you are a fraudster, scammer, or otherwise out to harm someone, you will find Humanable’s social media platform a very unwelcome place, and if you engage in those activities, there is no bot to hide behind,” said Jason Elster, Humanable Co-Founder and commercial litigator.

Paul McGrady, author of McGrady on Social Media and Co-Founder of Humanable, said, “By prohibiting fake accounts, fake influencers, and fake ad revenue, we will give artists and fans what they want: social media where content will be created by known humans and directed to known humans. Likewise, advertisers and human influencers will be able to carefully craft consumer messages meant to reach people and not algorithms. We expect a swift migration from big brands who want to be sure that their ad dollars are actually being well spent.”
