Arizona artists, DBangz shared his music journey with Imprint Entertainment on the heels of his latest music video, ‘The Source’. He spoke about his humble beginnings as he began recording music with his father’s studio equipment up to leaving his life in Arizona behind to chase his music dreams in Los Angeles.

He touched on his love for hip hop and his inspirations to sharpen his pen game.
“I’m a huge east coast hip hop fan over west coast; Raekwon, MF Doom, Joey Bada$$. They pretty much helped shape my sound; I would always get compared to DOOM when I was younger.” When asked about who he would like to work with, he stated: “I would love a Raekwon verse.”
DBangz also shared his thoughts on creating his music video, ‘Been a Long Time.’
“In terms of actually doing something and creating something, that process was crazy and I never had a video match a vibe that I wanted to well. I’ll sit back now and watch it and it’ll give me chills up my spine.”
Lastly, Dbangz concluded with an update on his plans for new music in the current year, stating he’s currently working on a new EP that should be a good follow up to ‘Been a Long Time’. For now, Dbangz shows his passion for the craft along with a vibrant and optimistic attitude that shines through in his music.
