J BALVIN UNVEILS SURPRISE NEW PROJECT MIXTEIP, ARRIVING JULY 17
Fresh off his show-stopping performance at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup™ Halftime Show this Sunday, July 13, global icon J Balvin surprises fans with the announcement of his highly anticipated new project, Mixteip, set to drop Thursday, July 17.
J Balvin lit up the stage at one of the world’s biggest sporting events, kicking off his set with the global smash “Mi Gente” before launching into the charged crowd-pleaser “Reggaeton.” Sharing the halftime spotlight with fellow superstars Tems, Doja Cat, and Coldplay, Balvin’s electrifying presence and signature global fusion ignited the stadium and millions of fans watching worldwide.
The halftime show also served as a global platform for Balvin to unveil Mixteip, a surprise release that explores new sounds, while staying true to his unmistakable reggaeton roots. Mixteip brings together an eclectic lineup of collaborators, including Gilberto Santa Rosa, Lenny Tavárez, and Justin Quiles. In its repertoire, the project also includes the merengue-driven smash “KLK” featuring Omega, and fan-favorite “Rio.”
Further amplifying his summer domination, J Balvin reunited with DJ Snake earlier this month, for their latest exhilarating summer anthem “Noventa” – a nod to the golden era of the 1990s. The track channels colorful nostalgia with a modern twist, merging DJ Snake’s globe-spanning production with J Balvin’s signature reggaeton swagger. “Noventa” marks their second major collaboration following the international 2019 hit “Loco Contigo.”
Blazing into the second half of 2025, J Balvin continues to expand his creative universe and push boundaries. As he continues to shatter records and expand the global reach of Latin music, J Balvin remains at the forefront of culture, collaboration, and creativity.
