J.P. LICKS ANNOUNCES THE LAUNCH OF THREE NEW ICE CREAM FLAVORS INSPIRED BY LATIN AMERICAN CUISINE

J.P. Licks is pleased to announce the launch of three brand new ice cream flavors inspired by Latin American cuisine: Tres Leches, Spiced Plantain, and Homemade Xtabentún Coffee.

Tres Leches Ice Cream is inspired by the beloved dessert and combines the sweetness of condensed milk, the subtle caramel notes of evaporated milk, and the richness of whole milk with soaked cake. Spiced Plantain is a butter and brown sugar ice cream with caramelized plantains, cinnamon, cloves, and anise. Homemade Xtabentún Coffee (Pronounced ‘Ish-tah-ben-TOON)is a coffee ice cream combined with our version of an anise and honey liqueur. Tres Leches, Spiced Plantain, and Homemade Xtabentún Coffee ice creams are currently available in all J.P. Licks stores through August 2025 while supplies last.

“These Latin American cuisine-inspired flavors have been a labor of love for us,” says J.P. Licks founder and CEO Vincent Petryk. “We’ve been working on testing these flavors for months, to make sure they really emulate what they are inspired by and feel authentic. We’re excited for our customers to finally get to try them.”
