Following the release of her critically acclaimed new album Who Wants To Talk About Love? on Friday, July 18th via Glassnote RecordsJade Bird announces a headlining tour across the US, UK, and Europe. Marking her first full run of shows in support of the new record, the tour will see Jade bring her deeply personal songs and electrifying stage presence to audiences around the world this fall.

Spanning major cities across both sides of the Atlantic, the tour promises to be Jade’s most cathartic and captivating yet: an opportunity for fans to experience the raw emotion, intimate storytelling, and genre-defying songwriting of Who Wants To Talk About Love? live for the first time.

The tour news follows an intimate album release event at the GRAMMY Museum in Los Angeles last week, hosted in collaboration with the Americana Music Foundation, as well as a run of intimate performances at record stores across the US and UK. There, Jade performed selections from the new record and discussed the personal journey that shaped it.

Executive produced with platinum selling Andrew Wells (Phoebe Bridgers/Teddy Swims) and with contributions by Andrew Sarlo (Bon Iver/Big Thief) and Greg Kurstin (Adele)Who Wants To Talk About Love? is Jade’s most vulnerable and reflective work to date. Across its 12 tracks, Jade confronts generational cycles, family estrangement, heartbreak, and ultimately, healing. It’s a moment in time where facing her truth, her fears and her reality in this world became unavoidable. Self-induced therapy through song that journeys through love, loss and forgiveness resulting in a new sense of self and freedom from family entanglement. Are we doomed to repeat our parents’ mistakes? The question hangs over the whole record and invites us to join her quest to understand what ‘love’ is; this powerful, addictive, beautiful, destructive force that drives us all.

“I wrote this album while trying to make sense of the broken relationships in my family- my parents, both sets of grandparents – and the way they echoed into my own life when my engagement ended. It’s as much a question as an answer, wondering if I could break the cycle while finding my own path to forgiveness- not just from my dad, but for myself.” – Jade Bird

Jade Bird has toured the world with acts like Hozier and Brandi Carlile, delivered unforgettable performances at Austin City Limits and Bonnaroo, and appeared on Later… With Jools HollandThe Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The Late Late Show with James Corden, and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. As well as opening for Tom Odell on his upcoming North American fall tour, Jade recently played this year’s Glastonbury and will appear at Latitude in the UK tomorrow.

Known for her dynamic blend of Americana, folk, indie rock, and pop, alongside her soaring vocals and fearless lyricism, Jade remains one of the UK’s most compelling voices. Her headlining tour will bring Who Wants To Talk About Love? into its full form: urgent, emotional, and made to be heard in a room of people finding connection through her songs.
