JAWNINO AND SURF GANG LINK UP ON AMNESIA – OUT NOW

On the heels of their collaboration with Lerado Khalil on Scenic Route, Surf Gang have linked up with South London rapper Jawnino for the release of their collaborative project, Amnesia. Recorded entirely in London, Amnesia features production from group mainstays evilgiane, Harrison, Eera, and Goner, showcasing the determined sonic versatility of Surf Gang, along with the laidback sharp lyricism of Jawnino. With sonics that span cloud rap, ambient trap, and even drum and bass, each of the 9 tracks embody the instantly recognizable traits of a Surf Gang-produced music, giving the project a clear sense of identity in its focused runtime. Amnesia arrives following the project’s lead single “Alise” produced by Harrison and cajm, marking the first collaboration between the producer collective and Jawnino since the evilgiane produced “3styl3” on his 2024 album 40. The project is Jawnino‘s first full-length project of 2025, and following his critically acclaimed and commercially successful album 40, which featured underground contemporaries MIKE, evilgiane, Jesse James Solomon, Kibo, and Massiah. For Surf Gang, Amnesia comes at the end of a summer packed with releases and production credits from the Surf Gang crew, including the standout “Guliao” (feat. jackzebra & Harto Falión) and “FAXX” with LAZER DIM 700.
