JULIO CAESAR PRESENTS “ENERO” A MUSICAL TRIBUTE TO NEW BEGINNINGS AND THE PATHS YET TO BE DISCOVERED

Mexican-American singer-songwriter Julio Caesar presents his new album Enero, a project charged with emotion, introspection and renewal. Inspired by his birth month – January 9th – and the symbolism of fresh starts, Enero traces an emotional narrative that can be heard in two directions: from track 1 to 11, it tells a love story that begins with hope and ends in heartbreak; or from 11 to 1, it reflects a healing journey that leads to new beginnings.

With a sound palette grounded in intimate, melancholic tones—painted in hues of blue, gray, and brown—Julio captures the vulnerability, resilience, and transformation at the heart of this album.

The release is anchored by the focus track “Rascacielos”, a song about personal reconstruction after an emotional collapse, conveying the message of continuing to grow, stronger than ever. With lines like “I didn’t lose myself in the excesses, but I lost the dream to move forward”, the track expresses the spirit of perseverance and ambition. “Rascacielos” becomes an anthem of resilience and faith, reaffirming that, as long as life allows, he will keep aiming higher The music video, directed by Sergio Hinojosa and Kenya Molina, marks the third and final chapter of a visual trilogy that began with “Chocolate” and “Sirena”. The sequence traces a romantic relationship from its sweetest moments to its ultimate end. In “Rascacielos,” the couple’s breakup is depicted as Julio Caesar, overwhelmed by grief, emotionally fades in a symbolic portrayal of heartbreak — powerfully closing a story marked by hope, loss, and despair.
