Kero Kero Bonito with Negative Gemini in Atlanta at Terminal West

Written By | Andre Buchanan

Terminal West is one of the many popular music venues in Atlanta,GA. It’s located in the King Plow Arts Center which brings a lot of culture to the area. Terminal West has had some great musicians perform like The Killers, 2 Chainz, Zeds Dead and now Kero Kero Bonito. Fans of Kero Kero Bonito were already lined up an hour before the doors opened. This was the longest line that I’ve seen at Terminal West this early so I could tell how much dedication Kero Kero Bonito fans have already.

Joining Kero Kero Bonito on tour is a Dance/Electronica goddess by the name of Negative Gemini. This multi talented artist from Richmond, Virginia hit the stage with some of the most creative beats I’ve ever heard. Between the mix of the deep heavy hitting bass and the innovative vocals, her sound was something i’ve quite never heard live before. This goes for saying that I’m definitely going to purchase her music and follow her journey. Negative Gemini only left the stage with positive vibes.

Coming out of London, England, Kero Kero Bonito is an indie pop band who consist of vocalist Sarah Perry, and instrumentalis, Gus Labban and Jamie Bulled. The venue was packed out before they came out but as soon as they did it felt like 100 more people were able to squeeze in. So when I say it was packed, believe me it was PACKED! I’m usually able to shimmy my way to the front of the stage but not this time. Fans went absolutely crazy when Kero Kero Bonito came out and that energy was kept through the whole show. It never died down. Non stop jumping and even moshing, this show was hype and Kero Kero Bonito was feeding off of that energy. They performed songs like Trampoline and When The Fires Come, but I think a crowd favorite was the popular song Flamingo. All in all, it was an awesome show and their stage performance was amazing. I recommend anybody who hasn’t heard of Kero Kero Bonito to give them a new listen and add them to your playlist.
