Lil Mosey and Lunay Take a High-Speed Ride For Their Latest Single “Top Gone”

“Blueberry Faygo” Stays on Fire at No. 11 This Week on Billboard Hot 100

Lil Mosey (Mogul Vision/Interscope Records) keeps his foot on the gas with another summertime scorcher as the rap heavyweight joins forces with burgeoning Puerto Rican trap star Lunay for the slithery earworm “Top Gone.” Mosey’s sing-songy prowess gleams on his latest record, as he hopes to impress his lady friend with his expensive taste in cars and fast-paced demeanor. “Top Gone” also finds Mosey swimming in uncharted territory, as Lunay’s versatility opens doors for the Seattle high-riser in the Latin music space.

Even with his Billboard crown jewel “Blueberry Faygo,” leading the forecast for the summer’s hottest song, the criminally underrated dynamo hasn’t lost any steam so far in 2020. The Cole Bennett-directed video notched over 122 million views on YouTube and peaked at No. 8 on the Hot 100. Even after an initial leak of the record threatened to pause its momentum, “Blueberry Faygo” soared to the No. 1 slot on the Rhythmic Songs chart.

As for Lunay, the ethereal wunderkind continues his ascension with his latest single “Relaciones,” released last month. At 19, Lunay’s has a treasure trove of hits from his 2019 album Epico, including “Aventura ” and “Soltera,” with the latter featuring Latin juggernauts Bad Bunny and Daddy Yankee on the song’s remix. Released under Star Island by co-owners Chris Jedi and Gaby Music, Epico went No. 1 on Billboard’s Latin Sales chart.

Mosey’s exponential rise dates back to his 2018 rookie campaign and debut project Northsbest, which spawned his platinum hit “Noticed.” In 2019, he graduated into a Certified Hitmaker with his glossy, star-studded album featuring Chris Brown, Gunna, and Trippie Redd. The project peaked at No. 12 on the Billboard 200 and kicked off his Certified Hitmaker World Tour.
