MAJO AGUILAR RELEASES NEW SINGLE “QUISE ALGO BIEN”

Grammy-nominated singer for the third consecutive year, Majo Aguilar, releases her new single “Quise Algo Bien”, a preview of her upcoming album where she presents her take on mariachi tumbado.

Written by Majo Aguilar, David Alberto Fuentes Moreno, Luis Manuel Rodríguez Rojas, and Francisco Ronaldo Mendoza García, “Quise Algo Bien” portrays a relationship where only one person gives their all without receiving the same in return.

This release highlights an incredible fusion of traditional mariachi with tumbado sounds and is accompanied by an official video, a continuation of “Aún Así Te Vas,” illustrating a real-life situation experienced by thousands when they set out to pursue the “American dream”.

“‘Quise Algo Bien’ is a song about a relationship where one person tries and gives everything, but the other doesn’t. It’s a problem not limited to romantic love, which makes it even more painful. The video continues the story from ‘Aún Así Te Vas,’ revealing that the couple breaks up because he leaves to try his luck in the United States.
