MARSHMELLO Teams Up With FARRUKO On A Fresh Single Collab & New Video For “ESTA VIDA”

GRAMMY®-nominated artist and producer Marshmello delivers a fresh new single “Esta Vida,” in collaboration with Puerto Rican singer and rapper Farruko, which translates to “This Life.” The mega music luminaries surprised fans together with a debut performance of the record closing out Marshmello’s Ultra Music Festival headline set on the main stage (March 26) in front of more than 50,000 fans!
The official “Esta Vida” music video directed by Justice Silvera, shows the duality of Farruko living two lives: one as a man who is homeless, and another as a celebrity surrounded by fame and fortune before his descent. The music video, which stars both artists, tells the story of success and failure!
The release of “Esta Vida” arrives alongside the success of Marshmello’s latest hit collaboration with Manuel Turizo. In its first month, “El Merengue” has scored more than 87.5 Million combined streams while reaching prominent placements on Spotify’s Global Top 50 (#43) and Apple Music’s Latin Top 50. The beautiful fusion of tropical sounds continues to win over the hearts of fans, trending in the Top 5 on YouTubeand most recently scoring Shazam’s #5 Latin song (+ #60 overall song). These Latin collaborations mark a new era of Spanish music releases for Marshmello. The innovative DJ teased yet another unreleased track during his recent EDC Mexico performance alongside Mexican artists Fuerza Regida and Peso Pluma. Fans continue to speculate after Marshmello revealed that he’s “Working on myself…and a new album…” via his Instagram, and later posted a photo with Anuel.
