MassPay Adds Cash App to Its Direct Payout Network, Bringing Near Real-Time Payouts to One of America’s Most-Used Financial Services Platforms
Platforms using MassPay can now pay gig workers, creators, contractors, and customers directly into Cash App – in real time, through the same single integration
People getting paid have changed how they expect to be paid. Gig workers, creators, affiliates, contractors, and marketplace sellers no longer accept waiting days for a bank transfer to clear. They want their earnings the moment they’ve earned them, in the financial app they already use every day. For the platforms paying them, speed has become a retention issue, not a convenience.
MassPay announced today a new integration with Cash App, giving its clients the ability to send near real-time payments for a fee directly to recipients’ Cash App accounts through MassPay’s existing single integration.
Cash App is a financial services platform with more than 59 million monthly transacting active users in the United States. As income becomes more flexible and fragmented, many earners need payout options beyond traditional ACH. Adding Cash App as a payout destination means platforms can meet recipients exactly where they are, with no new bank account, no new app to download, and no waiting.
“Demand for payouts is the clearest signal we hear from clients across every industry we serve,” said Ran Grushkowsky, CEO of MassPay. “Whether it’s a gaming operator settling winnings, a marketplace paying sellers, or a gig platform paying a driver at the end of a shift, the ask is the same: get the money there now, into the account the recipient actually uses. Cash App is exactly that account for tens of millions of Americans, and we’re proud to make it available to our clients on day one with zero additional integration work.”
Built for the range of industries MassPay serves
MassPay powers payouts for platforms across iGaming and sports betting, gig and marketplace economies, creator and affiliate networks, freelance and contractor payments, rewards and incentives, and insurance and claims disbursements. Cash App for payouts is available to all clients through MassPay’s single API and contract, alongside local bank rails, cards, mobile wallets, stablecoins, and other real-time payout methods in 180 countries.
Clients benefit from:
- Near real-time delivery – for a fee, funds land in the recipient’s Cash App balance in real time, ready to send, spend, or invest.
- Frictionless onboarding for recipients – no new account required for existing customers. Recipients choose Cash App as their payout method and get paid.
- One integration, one contract – Cash App joins MassPay’s existing payout methods with no additional build, no lock-in, and no hidden fees on failed transactions.
- Compliance built in – MassPay handles KYC, sanctions screening, and reporting so clients can pay confidently.
“The best payout experience is the one the recipient never has to think about,” Grushkowsky added. “Our integration with Cash App removes a real point of friction for our clients’ users. For the clients themselves, it’s simply a new option in the same dashboard they already use.”
Cash App is available now as a payout option to MassPay clients in the United States.
