MIDWXST Announces Energized & Revolutionary Back in Action 4.0

Midwxst has announced his new EP, BACK IN ACTION 4.0, slated for release on July 19th. This latest addition follows the path of the three preceding BACK IN ACTION EPs released over the past three years, each marking a milestone in his creative journey. Along with the announcement, midwxst has unveiled a new single, “E30”.

The announcement of the new EP comes just days after midwxst’s 21st birthday, showcasing his ongoing musical evolution and maturity as he steps into adulthood. The project also features the recently released single “FIRE”, which includes rapper and singer DC The Don.

Midwxst shares insights about the upcoming project, stating, “It’s an ideal blend of booming 808’s and confident lyrics that pay tribute to car culture and the street racing scene. As a child, I was fascinated with cars – from constructing them on ROBLOX to playing The Need for Speed video games until dawn – this fascination fueled my creative journey for this project. Much like the essence of racing itself – constantly moving forward – BACK IN ACTION 4.0 will undoubtedly inspire you to hit the gas and never let up, a sentiment I fully embrace.”

Last September, midwxst, born Edgar Sarratt III, launched his debut album E3, offering listeners a roadmap through relationships, identity formation, and the digital world. Midwxst collaborated with industry veterans and session musicians to create a soundtrack for what he described as a “fairytale gone wrong,” serving as a detailed portrayal of love in all its forms and progressions.
