UK pop newcomer Nadia Loren closes out her blockbuster breakout year with the release of her debut EP Kiss & Drive, out today VLF Records. The EP comes alongside stunning focus track ‘Do You Miss Me?’ which is accompanied by a Blacksocks-directed live video. The seven-track project lands after a whirlwind few months that have seen Nadia cement herself as one of the most exciting fast-rising artists of 2025.

A kaleidoscopic coming-of-age soundtrack, Kiss & Drive captures the thrill, chaos and intensity of being young and feeling everything at once. Blending diaristic storytelling with glossy, high-definition pop, the EP threads together Nadia’s now-signature ‘happy/sad’ palette – music built for crushes, comedowns and late-night drives where the whole world feels electric.

Featuring the pastel-drenched daydream of Laundrette’, heartbreak anthem ‘Sad But True’ (produced by Mura Masa), and her euphoric debut ‘It’s Whatever’, the EP expands Nadia’s world with four new tracks that push her into bold new territory. From the cinematic intensity of ‘True Romance’ to the youthful escapism of ‘Lost On The Highway’, Kiss & Drive bottles the headrush of growing up, messing up, falling in love and leaving it all on the line.

Speaking on the EP, Nadia shares:
“I wrote this EP about my life, as if each song were a scene in a beautiful film I love. Some of it is very true and very real, some of it is me projecting and fantasising- but every song is an exploration of something internal within me. I read a lot and crave drama and romance, I love the idea that your life can be transformed into an art through music; creating worlds that are exaggerated and dramatic but still very genuine. The songs become the only places I could be completely honest, brave, crazy and explore the multifaceted ugly emotions that come with growing up, relationships, chasing your dreams and just living life. In some ways this EP became my version of the story, the story i can be brave enough to only live in writing. I’m also obsesssed with David Lynch and wanted it to feel like a record to accompany one of his films.. so much so that when I produced it with Mura Masa we had a picture of Laura Palmer up on the wall. A lot of decisions were made on the basis of ‘what would Laura think?!’ But overall this EP has been the soundtrack of my life for the last year, I’ve been working towards this for ages and am so happy to share it.”

The release marks another huge leap for the Kent-born, London-based artist, whose storytelling draws on influences from pop-heavyweights Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey and Lorde, as well as the filmic nostalgia of her parents’ record collection – Bowie, The Velvet Underground, Britpop icons and beyond. Since finishing her A-levels earlier this year, Nadia has been moving at remarkable pace: selling out her first headline show in minutes, delivering on the hype with an even bigger performance at O2 Academy2, and joining Chloe Qisha on tour across the UK/EU.

With her fanbase feverishly multiplying daily and critics rallying behind her lush, expansive sound, Kiss & Drive feels less like a debut and more like the opening credits to a major new pop chapter. Nadia Loren is not just one to watch – she’s the girl poised to define the next era of UK pop.
