NAT & ALEX WOLFF RELEASE NEW SINGLE “JACK”
Indie rock band Nat & Alex Wolff, the multi-hyphenate brother duo, have released their brand new single, “Jack” via Coup D’Etat Recordings and Broke Records.
To celebrate the release, Nat & Alex Wolff will join Apple Music’s World First with Zane Lowe tomorrow morning for an exclusive live performance of “Jack” and an in-depth conversation about the making of the track, their creative growth over the years, and more.
“Jack” is an ironic yet sincere letter to an old friend with vintage synth textures and a rhythmic pulse that feels like a nod to the endless energy of youth. The upbeat sonic throwback is reminiscent of high school friendships, earnest and harsh in equal measure, painting a picture of longing, even for the kinds of conflicts that feel strangely comforting in retrospect. Driven by vibrant jazz piano riffs, jangly guitars, and expressive vocals, the track is a nostalgic reflection and a playful tribute to a character from the past.
Following on the heels of “Empty House,” “If You Never Left Me,” and the 2024 releases, “Soft Kissing Hour,” and“Backup Plan” the polymath artists continue to bring forth their most vulnerable, cathartic and experimental work to date. As Billboard-charting musicians, award-winning actors, and talented composers, the dynamic brother duo is forging an exciting new path while paying homage to the past. Fans can expect more new music from the pair later this year.
