Los Angeles-born rapper, producer, professional skateboarder, and multidisciplinary artist Navy Blue (Sage Elsesser) shares a new video for God’s Kingdom, fresh off his highly anticipated new album The Sword & The Soaring, out now via Freedom Sounds. The 15-track body of work marks a new era of introspection, faith, and mastery for the artist, following his acclaimed 2024 release Memoirs in Armour.
Across The Sword & The Soaring, Navy Blue navigates the balance between discipline and surrender, shadow and transcendence. The title reflects duality—“The Sword” as the symbol of endurance and “The Soaring” as the embodiment of grace.
“The Sword & The Soaring explores the internal battles we endure, while further investigating the presence of what I choose to call angels,” shares Navy Blue. “The hardships we face in our lifetimes are never in vain.
