Nissan celebrates excellence at 2024 Regional Supplier Appreciation Event

Nissan North America held its annual Supplier Appreciation and Awards event, celebrating the contributions of its supplier network and recognizing their achievements across several key areas.

“Our success at Nissan is built on the strong, collaborative relationships we have with our suppliers,” said Andrew Wareing, Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) and vice president, Purchasing, Nissan Americas. “Their dedication, innovation and partnership are essential to our achievements. Congratulations to this year’s award recipients, and we thank all of our suppliers for their ongoing support.”

The 2024 awards highlighted the following categories and achievements for the 2023 fiscal year:

Monozukuri Spirit – Recognizes suppliers who demonstrate a holistic understanding and appreciation of Monozukuri principles in both upstream and downstream activities. Recipients:

• Adient US, LLC; BASF Corporation; Kasai North America, Inc.; Topre America; and Yates Services LLC.

Aftersales – Celebrates suppliers who excelled in areas of performance, contributing significantly to Nissan’s Aftersales operations. Recipients:

• Auto Konnect; Gonher de Mexico; Interstate Batteries, Inc.; and Ituran Mexico.

Sustainability – Honors suppliers for their efforts in promoting sustainable and socially responsible business practices in line with environmental and ethical standards. Recipients:

• Bose Corporation; Kumho Tire; and Mann+Hummel GmbH.

Diversity – Acknowledges suppliers that have successfully integrated opportunities for minority- and women-owned businesses within their operations.

• CBRE; Martinrea International Inc.; and Unipres U.S.A. Inc.

Operational Excellence – Recognizes suppliers who excel in the areas of manufacturing efficiency, quality control, innovation and supply chain collaboration. Recipients:

• OPmobility; SEWS Mexico, S.A. de C.V.; and Yazaki North America, Inc.

Quality – Awards suppliers that consistently meet or exceed the highest standards of quality in their products or services, helping ensure reliability and customer satisfaction. Recipients:

• Body: Autokiniton U.S. Holdings, Inc. and TIMS Daiei Mexicana, S.A. de C.V.
• Chassis: Maxion Wheels de Mexico, S. de R.L. de C.V. and Kautex Textron de Mexico, S. de R.L. de C.V.
